Head of “Dallah Health” to “Argaam”: The great development in the number of beds and clinics will clearly reflect on the company’s performance at the beginning of this year

Tariq bin Othman Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dallah Health Services, said that the great development in the number of working beds and clinics will clearly affect the company’s performance at the beginning of this year.

Al-Qasabi explained, in connection with “Argaam”, that the number of beds currently operating in the company’s hospitals reaches 901 beds, compared to 600 beds at the end of last year before the completion of the company’s acquisitions, in addition to the number of clinics amounting to 495 clinics.

And he indicated that calculating the operating expenses of the new energies and acquisitions was reflected in the results of the fourth quarter of 2020, noting that the revenues of the acquired hospitals did not appear in the results of the fourth quarter due to the implementation of acquisitions near the end of the period.

He pointed out that the company allocated an amount of 9 million riyals to some debtors who deal with the hospital and had difficulty paying their debts due to the pandemic.

According to the data available on “Argaam”, the profits of “Dallah Health Services” decreased to 100.1 million riyals at the end of 2020, by 32%, compared to profits of 146.9 million riyals achieved during the same period in 2019, and the profits of the fourth quarter amounted to 20.1 million riyals.
